Are snobs iPad users?

This is probably not a surprise to many people, but iPad users are "selfish elites". At least that is what a new study says. Research comes from MyType, a consumer research company. Surveyed 20,000 people from March to may for a "psychological profile" iPad owners. The result? "Selfish elites".

MyType found iPad owners tend to be up to six times more "rich, sophisticated, highly qualified and disproportionately interested in business and finance" compared with non-proprietary. iPad owners also tend to be less than type or altruistic. For the most part, fell into the 30-50 age range.

However, a whopping 96% of the likely not even own iPads criticize device. These people have been considered "independent geeks" by the company. Tim MyType Koelkebeck said in an interview with Wired.com this group got its name as "autodirigidos youth look down on conformity and are interested in games video, computers, electronics, science and the internet."

Lists of MyType, a number of reasons as to why might iPad, owners, the way they are. Speculation includes the high price of the device and the desire for more gadgets that make more work for the workahólico types. In fact, when it was released the iPad, seemed to be mixed opinions among people who wondered why the device was even necessary to people that saw it as a new fresh way to stay connected.
