HP beats in us PC sales

HP Tops US Computer Sales


There is new about information 2010 United States computer sales and comes from a preliminary estimate by International Data Corporation. HP and Dell are leading the way with 26% and 24%, respectively, of all sales of u.s. team, but real change is competition, going for third place.

Long, Acer has easily been number three, but according to new data, Apple, located at number four, is starting to gain ground. Acer numbers have declined significantly since around 23% to 11% of all computers that sells, while increased Apple. Apple now controls about 8.8% of the computer market.

So, why big changes for Acer and Apple? There are several possibilities. International Data Corporation said that Acer had an unusually "strong previous year performance", but that is growing faster in other markets than in the United States.

There is also a theory that those who would have purchased an Acer netbook in the past are turning to Apple to buy an iPad instead. However, due to the iPad is not a traditional computer, that theory can not be confirmed. However, there are rumors circulating that Acer is out with its own team of Tablet PC in the future.

As regards sales team as a whole during the first half of 2010, the United States recorded an increase in overall number of shipments - 12.6%. Worldwide, purchases of equipment rose 22.4% over the previous year. In the second half of the year, there are a lot of back and forth between analysts about what will happen, due to the fluctuation of the economy.
